To pick a pottery glazing appointment please add to your cart an appointment for each person in your party. Pottery glazing is limited to those 6 years of age and up. Those who are under 16 are not permitted to be dropped off and must be with a parent at all times. Students may share or help each other with painting the same item but still need their own appointment so we know how many students to expect.
Glazing pottery pieces takes an hour and a half per item. The studio will provide sampled of fired glazes so you can pick you colors. Student must have three layers of glaze for best results on their pottery pieces.
If you are needing this item for a gift or are moving and have a limited time you need the pottery piece back by you must inform the studio ahead of time. The studio will not be responsible for mailing pottery items to students, should we not be able to fire before students move. This is why we need this disclosed ahead of time so that we can discuss if it will be ready in time. Typically, pottery will take one to two weeks to fire however there may be extenuating circumstances, which don't happen often, where the kiln needs a repair. It is our top priority to get these to you in a timely fashion however pottery projects take more time than the average art project.
The studio does not permit guests that are not signed up for a class for space and safety reasons. This included babies in carriers, we understand it's hard to find childcare but for the safety of the baby we prefer they stay at home when others are working on their projects.
