Come join us for a hand-built pottery class! Students will be making an 8-inch-tall white hat lantern from clay. It is the whole hand building from raw clay. Then students pick the color they want it glazed and we dip it. Students can pick up to three colors for the glaze dip. That way it's only one trip and then we fire it once, glaze it, and fire it again for students. That way the studio can fire it twice and return it two to three weeks after class (depending on drying) to students.
Projects will be ready for pick up two weeks after class. Students will be individually notified when their projects are ready.
Projects will be held in the studio for pick up for 60 days if student do not come to pick up their mugs after that time, they will be discarded for space and organization reasons. We of course will contact students as frequently as needed but at some point, students are responsible for art left in the studio.
